Description
Come and join us as we Ride Round the Bay in 2017!
Over two days, we will make a counterclockwise loop around Melbourne's Port Phillip with an overnight stay in Dromana. This classic ride on the Bike for Bibles calendar is a great chance to share in fellowship, ride some great roads and to raise funds to support the work of the Bible Society. In 2017 we will be fundraising to support a literacy program in South Sudan.
What is the plan for the ride?
We meet in Docklands in downtown Melbourne early on the Saturday morning and then set off towards Geelong. After lunch on the Geelong Waterfront, we ride to Queenscliff and catch the ferry across to Sorrento. From here, we ride up to Dromana where we will have dinner and stay the night. We attend the Dromana Presbyterian Church morning service and then depart for the ride back to Docklands.
Day 1 - 160km
Day 2 - 80km
